Breeze Marine on a residential vessel: night charging and audibility in the cabin
For a residential vessel, it is not only important to recharge the battery in the parking lot. While the wind turbine is running, the crew can rest in a cabin near the intended location of the mast. Therefore, before buying it is useful to agree on two results: the necessary charging and acceptable conditions for people to stay. One thing doesn't confirm the other.
Audibility depends on the location of the check.
Videos of a wind turbine running on an open deck help to see it in operation, but do not show what will be heard inside a particular vessel. In the request, mark the sleeping places, the nearest bulkheads and the intended attachment of the mast. Attach a general plan and photos: a large shot of one pipe does not convey the mutual location of the premises and equipment.
Separate the observations: sound outside and inside the cabin, as well as noticeable vibration of the structures. These are different checkpoints. The word “quiet” in the description does not replace the result for the selected location. The official AIR Breeze family page mentions noise reduction, but this information does not establish the acoustic characteristics of our specific UniAir configuration.
First discuss the placement, then buy the fastener
Show two possible locations, if any, and explain the limitations of each: proximity to the living area, access to service, cable route, and the presence of add-ons. The decision on the mast and fastening shall take into account the configuration documentation and the vessel design. Arbitrary rubber gaskets or transfer to a higher pipe should not be considered a ready-made solution for comfort and strength.

How to describe an acceptable outcome
Instead of the phrase “so that it does not interfere with sleep”, specify where and under what conditions the work is evaluated: a particular cabin, open or closed hatches, the condition of other sound sources, observation time and wind conditions. If a numerical criterion is required, agree on the quantity, method and instrument before the test. Recording on a phone is not a measurement of sound level.
Demonstration or observation on a comparable installation can be discussed in advance, if such an opportunity is available. For acceptance after installation, issue a separate checkpoint in the agreed program. The article does not contain the results of measurements and does not promise a given audibility on any vessel.
What will be the decision before payment
A suitable result is an agreed place with clear verification conditions. If the location next to the cabin cannot be justified, first review the placement or mode of use of the system. The choice should not be reduced to buying additional parts without confirmation that they will solve the task.

Can you guarantee silence in the cabin catalog?
Nope. For the selected accommodation, an agreed criterion and its verification are required. In this material, acoustic measurements are not declared.
Does Breeze have a separate "night stop" mode?
There is no such function here. Control capabilities and acceptable operating procedure are checked according to the documentation of the proposed configuration.
