Power supply for the marine radio installation

For the charger, attach a power supply diagram of radio equipment, battery information and a list of connected equipment. Specify what is being replaced and which installation elements are retained. Include photos of the nameplates on the existing charger and the equipment connected to it.

Separately describe the place of installation, access conditions and the composition of existing cables and connectors. The installation requirements and the selected configuration are agreed upon prior to the order. The charger model name alone does not establish compatibility with the existing marine installation.

NAVTEX receiver kit

For SAILOR 6390/6004, name your existing receiver, display and antenna if some of the equipment remains. You need the location of the panel, the proposed antenna location and cable route. Replacing a single unit and delivering a complete set require a different list of components.

Specify the type of vessel: for example, bulk carrier, tugboat, fishing vessel, passenger vessel, service boat or river–sea vessel. Attach the requirements for the equipment and documents of the specific configuration. A catalogue listing alone does not confirm suitability for a particular vessel or operating area.

Area of work, port and receipt of equipment

Name the port and route: the section of the Volga, Kama, Don or Northern Dvina, the area of the Baltic, Black, Caspian or Okhotsk Sea. For delivery, specify the city: St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Kaliningrad, Astrakhan, Rostov-on-Don, Novorossiysk or Vladivostok; for Kazakhstan - Aktau or Atyrau.

Preparing the power supply for a voyage or refit

For a ship operating between Astrakhan and the Caspian ports, it is useful to separate the main radio complex, backup power supply and satellite equipment. List the electrical loads, existing batteries, charger and installation location. The port of receipt – Astrakhan, Aktau or another agreed destination – is recorded separately from the area of operation.

A passenger vessel on the Volga, a tugboat on the Kama and a sea vessel in the Baltic Sea may differ in the composition of instruments and modes of their use. Prior to the order, the data of the installed set is collected and the power supply of each node is coordinated. The electrical assessment must be based on the installed equipment and its loads, rather than the charger series name alone.

When repairing in Novorossiysk, Kaliningrad or Vladivostok, attach markings, photos of connections and a list of equipment to retain. For a NAVTEX receiver, list the display, antenna and connections separately. These details help determine whether a single unit can be replaced while retaining the rest of the installation.
