Satellite communications

VSAT, BGAN, Inmarsat and Iridium: equipment and kits for ship, ground installation and mobile communications. For selection, specify the place of work, the task and the desired scope of supply.

For a vessel receiving satellite equipment in Astrakhan before working on the Volga and Caspian Sea, list the terminal, retained power sources and cables as separate items. If a repair team in Petrozavodsk receives the kit before a voyage on Lake Onega, describe the installation and communications task rather than assuming a charger belongs to every package. For supply through Arkhangelsk for White Sea voyages, distinguish hardware, service activation and installation work. A port address does not define the power system, tariff or coverage; agree these for the actual equipment and route.

Ground VSAT-station offer a single set of six positions, marine VSAT – set of antenna and modem. Tariff and connection are agreed separately.
