The NSR NEB-2000 is classified as AIS EPIRB. Its documentation separately describes the transmitter 406 MHz, the guidance channel 121.5 MHz and the transmission AIS. This helps to distinguish between its role and that of a separate AIS-SART. For procurement, the required emergency means and place in the equipment are formulated. Do not choose a device only by the common word “buoy” or by the presence of AIS in the name. The quotation should have a complete model and applicable configuration, not a mixed set of characteristics of adjacent products.
Container - an independent part of the set
The NEB-2000 documentation includes a container with a hydrostatic release device. In the request, specify whether the entire set changes, only the beacon or a separate serviced node.
