Power supply and marine radio charge: how to choose equipment
Purchase power supply marine equipment is more convenient to start with three tasks: what consumers eat, how batteries are charged and what reserve is provided. One common line, “24V block,” does not describe the entire set. Separate functions and make a clear statement for quotation.

Separate function and product name
| The challenge | Example of position | What's the deal? |
|---|---|---|
| Power supply | BP-103-20 | Input, output range, current and power of consumers |
| AKB charge | CH-105 / AZU-105 | Batteries, Input Configuration and Charge Mode |
| Re-block of the existing set | HERCULES-10 | Marking, load, reserve and necessary functions |
The BP-103-20 has a power supply task and a backup input, but the manual separately indicates that the battery charge is not performed by this unit. Therefore, the presence of the battery in the scheme requires its own charge solution.
The load begins with the passports of consumers
Make a list of equipment: radio, receivers, AIS, navigation devices and other intended consumers. For each item, specify the permissible power supply range and consumption by mode. This is the initial data for selection, not the promise of compatibility of all devices from the list with one source.
Separately, write down which devices are running simultaneously and what should keep power supply off the backup. When equipment changes, the statement is updated. If you need an alarm or a specific switching order, include these features in the kit requirements.
BP-103-20: source of unstabilized power supply
In the manual version 2.3 for BP-103-20 output is listed as 17.4-31.2 V DC. For consumers, the permissible range is checked, and the load is agreed on the limitations of the selected configuration. Nominal class "24 V" does not replace the exact selection.
If a source with a different input or stabilization is required, this is a separate condition of the application. Existing materials on ALPA and SIGMA are listed in related links: their characteristics and specific composition are also checked before order.
CH-105: battery and power grid
The CH-105 requires battery type, voltage, capacity and battery group documentation. The designation AZU-105-24 can not be abbreviated to AZU-105: this is another input configuration. The differences are discussed separately in the table of the new material about charging.
The control panel, temperature sensor and external alert are activated according to the agreed composition. List additional equipment already installed if it is retained. Otherwise, it is easy to lose the affiliation required for the selected work scenario.
Reserve and additional energy sources
For redundancy, report the battery parameters and the required equipment mode. The state of the battery and the calculation of autonomy are considered separately; one charger name cannot promise the duration of communication.
If the system provides a wind turbine UniAir Breeze Marine, it is considered a separate position and operating conditions. Its presence in the catalog does not provide constant power generation or a ready-made solution for any vessel. The previous product reference is saved for a separate selection of this equipment.
Statement for approval of delivery
The object and composition of the equipment; the parameters of the main network; the required outputs; consumption by modes; batteries and charging; reserve and alarm system; place of installation; necessary documents; quantity and city of receipt.
Separate replacement of the faulty element, replenishment of the reserve and equipping of the new workplace. For each set, save the models and the agreed configuration. This helps to obtain a quotation for a specific need and repeat subsequent purchases.
The main source, charging and adjacent blocks below are available as subject query directions. Availability, scope of supply, cost and term are confirmed for current use; the old list of equipment is not a guarantee of today’s balance.
Order and place of receipt
In the delivery request, specify the city and address: Vladivostok, Rostov-on-Don, Astana or another point of Russia and Kazakhstan. For the batch, add the number for each configuration. Availability, cost, composition and term confirmed in the quotation.
River tug and remote shore post: two power supply statements
For a tugboat on the Volga, it is convenient to divide consumers into posts: a bridge, communication facilities and individual auxiliary devices. In each line, the existing source, consumer parameters and mode of operation are noted. If only one unit is changed, the stored batteries and the charger are considered separately, rather than being included in the replacement automatically.
At the coastal post in the Salekhard area, the structure is different: in addition to equipment, the availability of service and the accepted reserve scheme are taken into account. The statement should show what is powered at the same time, what is turned off during maintenance and what signals the operator needs. For delivery to Astrakhan or Arkhangelsk, the city of receipt is indicated after the equipment composition: the same address does not make the load of different objects the same.
Questions before ordering
Is it enough to buy one block with the inscription 24 V?
For selection, you need kit tasks, an input network, an allowable power supply and consumer load, batteries and reserve.
Power supply and charging can be considered a single position?
Their functions should be checked against documentation. The BP-103-20 does not charge the battery; a separate charger is selected for this task.
Can the charger model promise battery life?
Nope. Autonomy depends on the batteries, their condition, load and the prescribed modes. These data are agreed separately.
